Ukrainian-German Symposium on Physics and Chemistry of Nanostructures and on Nanobiotechnology

Various types of nanostructures have been attracting remarkable experimental and theoretical interest over the last years. The unique chemical, mechanical, electrical, thermal, optical and magnetic properties of nanomaterials as well as their bioactivity excite large expectations about their applications in nanoelectronics, photonics, optoelectronics, nanomaterials and biomedicine. The Symposium is intended to bring together the Ukrainian and German scientists in the field of basic and applied nanophysics (experimental and theoretical), nanochemistry, materials science and biology to discuss the advancement in science and technology of nanostructures and nanostructured materials and to push forward the field.



The Symposium will encompass the topics in the following areas of nanoscience and nanotechnologies:



1.Synthesis and preparation methods

2.Characterization methods

3.Theoretical studies and modelling

4.Electronic and energy transport

5.Magnetic phenomena

6.Bioactivity

The official language of the Symposium is English. The full papers will be peer-reviewed and published in the journals “Biotechnology” (Ukraine) and “Materialwissenschaft und Werkstofftechnik” (Germany).
